S4ECoB developed an innovative ICT solution to optimize the existent Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) by means of acquiring, identifying and adding the parameters of occupancy level in buildings and surroundings through the integration of a low-cost novel network of audio sensors to enhance operations and eliminate unnecessary energy consumption of HVACL systems, maintaining user comfort.
