ECTP has the pleasure to welcome another applicant organisation, which membership will be formally endorsed by the upcoming ECTP General Assembly on 19 June 2024.

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is characterised by its multi-campus structure. With five strong faculties under one roof at the main campus in Odense, the University of Southern Denmark has an optimal framework for interdisciplinary collaboration. Excellent research at the highest international level is the definitive starting point for the University's activities; world-class research is the starting point for the education programmes, development and value creation that the University of Southern Denmark offers the surrounding society.

The SDU Civil and Architectural Engineering section is part of the Department of Technology and Innovation at the Faculty of Engineering. It offers education and conducts research in the design, construction and use of the built environment. The section consists of engineers and architects who work together on the concept of total design, which implies a greater understanding of the complexity of construction projects and the need for structural engineers to collaborate across disciplines.
