FIEC has launched the 67th edition of its Statistical Report, a digital publication where you can explore the latest figures, trends, data and activities of the construction industry in 22 European countries.
 
2023 was a year full of major challenges for the construction industry, with investment in construction declining at a rate of 2,2%. The outlook for the construction market varies across the EU, with growth in some countries and contraction in others.
 
The report highlights worrying trends in the residential construction sector, with housebuilding activity expected to fall by 5.7% this year.
