Cultural-E final Conference, 7 February 2025, Brussels
Cultural-E is an EU-funded project that developed user-centric and climate-specific solutions sets to achieve affordable Plus Energy Buildings while maintaining the best indoor environmental conditions. The sets of design-for-assembly technologies were developed through careful mapping of European climates, building archetypes, and cultural energy habits and implemented in four demonstration cases in France, Germany, Italy and Norway.
In its final conference, under the topic "Driving Sustainable Housing Forward: Decarbonising Buildings with Plus Energy Solutions for Comfortable and Affordable Living", you will have the opportunity to learn about the Cultural-e main results, talk to experts in the field and see the technologies used in the newly built and renovated demonstration cases in the project.
The conference is organised into three sessions that will address:
- The Design Guidelines for Plus Energy Buildings and the Plus Energy Building online HUB followed by a discussion on: What are the design challenges and opportunities for Plus Energy Building?
- The main technologies implemented in the Cultural-e Demonstrations Cases by followed by an exhibition on the technologies and the opportunity to talk with the providers of the innovative solutions.
- “Powering the future, why we need Plus Energy Buildings?” will bring a policy discussion into the stage with experts at the EU level debating the added value, benefits and future of PEBs.
You can find here a draft agenda, that will be updated closer to the event.
